The Company was established in 1978, to specialize in the sales, commissioning, service and maintenance of applied refrigeration plant for air-conditioning / cooling projects for the Mechanical Services Industry.

Projects undertaken over the years are diverse and include work for Chemical, Insurance, Banking Groups, Government Agencies, Hotel and Leisure Industries and
the Commercial and Retail markets as well as specialist dehumidification and heat pump installations for Swimming Pools for the Leisure Industry and low humidity and close control process cooling for the Industrial/Commercial and Food / Catering Industries.

This has resulted in the Company attaining a wealth of knowledge and experience to help continue in its tradition of high engineering standards, whilst working in thespecialist areas it enjoys in partnership with major manufacturers.
 
This allows Formost to offer a single source for a comprehensive range of equipment, backed by factory trained personnel, allowing full UK support of the product by Formost with our having detailed knowledge of the products and their applications to the client's individual specification requirements.

Equal emphasis is placed on investing in people and the Company encourages staff training in technical and commercial areas, in order to keep pace with advancements in Industry, Health and Safety and Environmental issues and coupled with foreign languages training to enhance the European connections.

The current Formost premises are modern and air-conditioned and were acquired in 1991, following steady growth which required purpose-built office / warehouse / workshop facilities, allowing all plant to be received from suppliers and checked prior to any additional work or alteration requirements in advance of shipping to clients
sites.

 
All plant and specialist installation sales are supported with an after sales programme supported by an in-house Operations Department handling the installation of refrigeration pipework, commissioning and on-site service and maintenance needs.

The Company has an in-house Quality Manager and currently operate a Quality Management System based on 1S09002, and is working on the integration of an
Environmental Management Policy to BS 7750:1994. Also in-house is a Health and Safety Manager qualified to AMRSH.

Formost can offer with confidence, air-conditioning or cooling plant for most applications, in the sure knowledge that the client will have the benefit of a product which will give many years of reliable and efficient service.
